Module 0 · Stage 1
The Facts Sheet
The twelve facts a booker, a search engine, and an answer engine need about a musician. Write them once. Publish them everywhere.
Why this is the first thing you do
A booker choosing between three musicians books the one who answered the question they had. A search engine ranks the page that says what you cost and where you play. An answer engine quotes a sentence with a number in it and ignores a sentence with an adjective in it. "Competitive pricing for all events" is invisible to all three. "Ceremony and cocktail hour, two hours, from $X, within 50 miles of Austin" is quotable by all three.
You are not writing marketing. You are writing facts. Once they exist in one place, every other surface copies from here: the site, the Google profile, the Instagram bio, the autoresponder, the listings, the FAQ.
The test for every line
Could a stranger quote this sentence, with a number or a name in it, and be correct? If not, it is not a fact yet.
| Not a fact | A fact |
|---|---|
| Affordable packages for any budget | Packages from $X. Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception sets priced separately or together. |
| Serving the greater area | Based in [city]. No travel fee within [N] miles. Named cities: [five to ten]. |
| Professional sound included | Battery-powered PA and wireless mic sized to the room or lawn. No venue power needed. |
| Fast response | Every inquiry gets a reply within [N] minutes, any day, and a date hold of 72 hours. |
| Years of experience | [N] years. [Rounded, true number] performances. Berklee-trained. |
The twelve facts
Fill every line. Leave nothing as "contact for details."
- Who you are. Act name, instrument or instruments, and one sentence in this shape: [Act] is a [instrument] [act type] for [event types] in [city or region].
- Where you play. Home base. Service radius in miles. Five to ten cities named in full. What happens beyond the radius (per-mile fee or flat quote).
- What you play for. The event types you actually take. Cut the ones you do not want.
- Your packages, named. Three to five, each with a name and one line. A package name is a fact people can ask for by name.
- Prices. "From $X" per package, or a range. A range is a fact. "Affordable" is not. If prices change by season or day of week, say so in one line.
- Durations. Minutes per set. Sets per package. Arrival time before the first note. Maximum hours on site.
- What is included. Sound system, wireless mic, backing tracks or solo, attire, liability insurance certificate, backup instrument and backup audio, coordination with the planner and DJ.
- Booking terms. Retainer percentage and whether it is refundable. When the balance is due. The hold policy. The booking window. Reschedule and cancellation rules.
- Repertoire and requests. Styles in one line. Six to ten song titles as examples. How far ahead requests are due. The fee for a custom arrangement.
- Proof. Years playing. Performances, rounded to a true number. Training. Venues and planners named only with permission. Two or three testimonials with a first name and a role. Links to one video and one photo set.
- How to reach you, and how fast. Email, phone, booking link. The reply-time promise, stated only as fast as your autoresponder actually delivers it.
- Logistics. Outdoor capability and power. Travel and overnight policy. Load-in needs. Meals for performances over four hours. Parking or load-in fees. Livestream licensing note if a videographer asks.

Your first task
Write your twelve. Post them in Blues People AI Agency under "Facts Sheet" with your act name. The stage assessment reads from this document, and so does every reply your autoresponder sends.
