Blues People AI Agency · A free community for working musicians

Book the next gig while you play this one.

Blues People AI Agency is the free community where working musicians and solo creative operators build the system that answers inquiries, follows up, and keeps posting while they are on stage. It ran on my own music business first. Now I teach you how to build yours.

The problem

Three places the work leaks out.

01The inquiry

Someone finds you on a Tuesday and asks about a date in November. You are on a bandstand. You answer Thursday. They booked someone else Wednesday.

02The follow-up

The ones who do not reply are not gone, they are busy. Nobody follows up, because following up is a job and you already have one.

03The content

You post when you remember to. The weeks you gig hardest are the weeks you post least, which is exactly backwards.

The reframe

Your website is not the business. Your response time is.

A prettier site does not answer a Tuesday inquiry on Tuesday. A system does. The system is not complicated, and it is not expensive. It is three things, built once: a reply that goes out in minutes, follow-up that runs on a clock, and publishing that feeds off the gigs you are already playing.

Own the facts. Rent the plumbing. The half of getting found that only you can do, your prices, your durations, your cities, the questions couples ask, is the half no agency will ever do for you. The plumbing underneath it can be built once and left running.

Harmonic Automation is the method. Five stages. One question tells you which one you are in.

Find your stage

Five questions. Then the download for exactly where you are.

Every music business is in one of five stages. Answer honestly, see your stage, and open the download for exactly where you are. The assessment does not ask for an email.

  1. 1
InvisiblePeople find you on Instagram and by word of mouth, which means they find whoever answers first.
  2. 2
Present but unfindableThe site exists, but it does not say what you cost or how long you play, so nothing quotes it.
  3. 3
Findable but leakingInquiries arrive. Response time and follow-up lose the bookings.
  4. 4
Booked but manualThe calendar is filling and you are the system. Nothing happens while you play.
  5. 5
SystemizedIt runs. The next thing is the one you cannot do yourself.

Which stage is your business in?

1Do you have a site on your own domain with your prices, packages, and service area written on it?
2Google your act plus your city. Are you on page one?
3How long between an inquiry arriving and your reply?
4What happens to the business during a five-hour gig?
5Is there a next thing you cannot do yourself: staff, several offers, four apps holding it together?

It ran on my business first

I stopped chasing gigs when I built the thing that books them.

Dennison Blackett, saxophonist and founder of Blues Prince Media
Dennison Blackett · Saxophonist · Founder, Blues Prince Media

I am a saxophonist. I play weddings and private events for a living, and I built my own booking, follow-up, and content system because I was losing work to my own response time. Berklee-trained, thousands of performances, and a business that used to go quiet every time I picked up the horn.

Then other musicians asked how I did it. Then studios. Then venues. Then operators nowhere near the industry. The same playbook now runs under every build below, and every one of them is live.

“I’ve seen Dennison’s work firsthand. If you’re an event professional who’s tired of doing everything manually, this is the team to call.”

The board and the weekly Q&A

Post what you are building. Ask what is stuck. I read the board, and the people answering are shipping, not spectating.

You are joining early. Founding members shape the classroom, get the workshop recordings first, and lock the free tier for good.Paid tiers exist inside for members who want the build done with them or for them. Premium builds it. VIP runs it. Nothing on this page requires either.

Fit

Who this is for. And who it isn’t.

This is for

  • You gig for money now, not someday
  • Inquiries reach you and some go cold before you answer
  • You are a solo creative operator running the whole business yourself
  • You want the machine, and you are willing to learn how it runs

This is not for

  • You want a prettier website and nothing behind it
  • You want someone to run your business for you instead of building you the system
  • You are looking for an audience rather than a workshop

Questions

What people ask before they join.

  • Is Blues People AI Agency really free?

Yes. Joining is free and stays free. The assessment, the three downloads, the Start Here shelf, the weekly Q&A, and a seat at the monthly workshop cost nothing. Paid tiers exist inside for members who want the build done with them or for them. Nothing on this page requires one.

  • What is Harmonic Automation?

A five-stage method for running a music business that keeps working while you play: get present, get found, stop the inquiry leak, put follow-up and publishing on a clock, then map the whole stack before anything bigger is built. It ran on Sax By Dennison, the founder’s own wedding and event business, before it was taught to anyone.

  • I am not technical. Can I do this?

Yes. Stage one is the Facts Sheet, done in an afternoon. The one-page site comes from the Site Kit template in a day, or from the sprint's build week. The plumbing underneath, the booking flow, the autoresponder, the follow-up, is the part that can be built for you later if you would rather not learn it.

  • How much time does it take?

Stage one takes an afternoon. After that, plan on two to five hours a week, most of it content you would be making anyway.

  • Do I need a website already?

No. If you have one, the assessment tells you what it is missing. If you do not, the Facts Sheet gives you everything the site needs to say, and the Site Kit puts it on your own domain in a day.

  • What happens after I join?

Take the assessment, download the piece for your stage, register for the next workshop on the calendar, and post what you are building on the board.

  • Who runs it?

Dennison Blackett, a Berklee-trained saxophonist based in Austin, Texas, who built the system for his own business first and then for studios, venues, and creative operators. One operator. No agency behind it.

Build it with people who play.

Most players do not need someone to do this for them. They need the architecture, the order to build it in, and other people in the room doing the same thing on the same week. That is what Blues People AI Agency is.
